Sonos may support Microsoft’s Groove, but the company is not planning to bring a new Windows 10 app. In a post on its community website, the company recently confirmed that it has no plans to bring a Windows 10 app, or build a new Windows Phone 8 app. The company says it’s a big fan of what Microsoft does, but it is currently focusing on Voice and Paid Streaming Services — therefore, a new Windows 10 app from Sonos may not come anytime soon. Some of you have been asking about a native Windows Phone controller app for Sonos, and we’ve been slow to provide a clear answer. We’re sorry about that. The truth of the matter is that up until now we’ve been unclear internally on this very question. Go back into the main menu within the Sonos app; Click on Control Sonos from Spotify and turn it on; Open the Spotify app and you'll see your Sonos speakers listed in the Devices Available tab. If it still does not show up in your original account, double check that you have enabled ‘Control Sonos from Spotify’ in the Sonos app under settings (this is part of the “Control Sonos from Spotify” in the Sonos app (only shows up if it is not yet enabled).
